Terminal Awareness Programme
TETRAtab has undergone conformance testing in order to qualify for the Terminal Awareness Programme to ensure that the TETRAtab device is 'Approved for use' on the Airwave network.
Conformance Testing
This is a mandatory test offering the minimum degree of confidence and protection to the Airwave network and its existing users from potential degradation of service as a result of potential basic problems associated with TETRA terminals.
This was recently revised to incorporate the inclusion of conformance testing for the short data service that the Airwave network provides.
A TETRA terminal can obtain a Pass, Self-Assessment or Fail. Once passed the terminal is deemed to be 'Approved for use' on the Airwave network.
